A symposium on the work of Steve McQueen is organized at Schaulager in conjunction with the exhibition. The lectures address themes and questions both relevant for art history and film studies. In this academic and at once accessible examination of Steve McQueen’s complex oeuvre experts as well as the broad public will be offered interesting insights on the artist’s work.
